April GrayReports Monthly Webcast: Student and Employer Demand Trends

Leading post-secondary education institutions rely on GrayReports Webcast for current data on trends in student demand and employer requirements.  GrayReports covers on-campus, online, and hybrid programs ranging from undergraduate certificates to doctoral degrees.  GrayReports data includes student inquiries, Google search volumes, and job postings by program and location.

  1. Online Programs:  Inquiries for online programs have increased year-over-year in 20 of the last 24 months.
  2. On-Campus Programs:  In stark contrast with demand for online programs, inquiries for on-campus programs fell in 22 out of 24 months.  In February alone they dropped 18%.
  3. Multi-Modal:  The fastest growing pool of inquiries does not state a preference for online or on-campus programs.  These inquiries grew 44% in March.
