GrayReports August: Student and Employer Demand Trends Results Through July

Leading post-secondary education institutions rely on GrayReports’ Webcasts for current data on trends in student demand and employer requirements. GrayReports covers on-campus, online, and hybrid programs ranging from undergraduate certificates to doctoral degrees. GrayReports data includes student inquiries, Google search volumes, and job postings by academic program and location. Every month, we release the latest data on a free GrayReports Webcast.   • In July, inquiries rose 14% year-over-year, continuing a eleven-month winning streak, this is the largest year-over-year increase in the history of this data set.
  • In July 2019, Google searches declined the most for Occupational Therapist Assistant. Google searches continued to decline in several STEM programs; these were also among the fastest-declining programs in both May and June
