Leading post-secondary education institutions rely on GrayReports’ Webcasts for current data on trends in student demand and employer requirements. GrayReports covers on-campus, online, and hybrid programs ranging from undergraduate certificates to doctoral degrees. GrayReports data includes student inquiries, Google search volumes, and job postings by academic program and location. Every month, we release the latest data on a free GrayReports Webcast. If you miss the Webcast, please feel free to download the presentation or watch the replay. To whet your appetite, below are highlights from the July GrayReports Webcast:
- Volumes for the two fastest-growing programs, Operations Management and Applied Psychology, more than quintupled in June, but off a low base in 2018.
- Inquiries for online programs continue to rise year-over-year, however, inquiries for on-campus programs continue to decline.
Our Program of the Month was Mental Health Counseling, which ranks in the 90th percentile on the Gray Program Scorecard. It has seen a significant increase in inquiries over the past few months, which is reflected in a high student demand score on the Gray Scorecard. However, low scores for competitive intensity and average scores for employment reduce the overall program score. Nonetheless, it remains a program for colleges and universities to consider.
